Local law enforcement just received one new team member. Boris, a Belgian Malinois, was recently donated by Shiver Security Systems, dba Sonitrol of Sw Ohio and was partnered with Deputy Tony Wilmer of the Butler County Sheriff’s Office.  Prior to joining the task force, Boris, born 9/22/21 was imported from Holland and imprinted on narcotic odor and tracking for two months. Both officers will be patrolling in Liberty Township. We look forward to seeing them around the community.

On Thursday February 24th we all celebrated Officer Wilmer and Boris at the Sheriff’s office.  A few of the local news reporters attended along with Sheriff Jones.  To date this is Shiver’s 5th K9 donated through The Matt Haverkamp Foundation. They plan to donate every year as long as there is a need for the dogs.

Shiver Security donated through the Matt Haverkamp Foundation, which was established in November 2005 in remembrance of K9 police officer Matt Haverkamp. “We chose the Matt Haverkamp Foundation because of the wonderful relationship they have with law enforcement agencies,” says Chip Shiver, owner of Shiver Security. Good luck to Boris and Deputy Wilmer. MattHaverkamp.com
